Dinosaur Theme.... suggestions welcome

DH and I have finally decided on a theme for our little man's nursery!  We are going with a dinosaur theme!  This is the bedding we are putting on our registry:

I love it and think it would be good for a transitional room, but I think it could make the nursery look very dark.  I am trying to come up with ways to "soften" and "brighten" up the room.  I am thinking of adding blue to the room and maybe some brighter greens.  We live in an apartment and can't paint our walls, which are white (I HATE white walls, but alas we are stuck with them).  I was thinking about getting some vinyl decals of dinos or plants and maybe putting "leaves" on the ceiling.  Any suggestions or ideas are welcome.  I am pretty crafty, so if you have "assembly required" ideas feel free to share!  TIA!
