help! my LO has terrible feeds during the day! FF

LO has great feeds at night never fussing but majoirty of the day feedings he wines, cries & screams at the bottle.  I'm pretty sure it has something to do with his bowel movements.  It usually happens when he hasn't had a movement for awhile.  We are on Enfamil A+ but thinking of trying a formula with hydrolized protiens... thoughts on what it could be? do you agree with gas? Infacol seemed to work but since its not at every feed I don't want to give it to him if he doesn't need it and I think your suppose to give Infacol before the feed.
