Napping suggestions anyone?

My baby used to be a great napper - 3 naps a day totaling 5-6 hours. As of a few days ago I can only get her to sleep about 1 to 1.5 hours total in short 15-20 min catnaps.  I know that they go through phases, but by 3 or 4 in the afternoon she is melting down in a crying fit because she is so tired.  That lasts until bedtime at 7.  Any suggestions?  How do you get your baby to go down for a nap?
