Screaming baby = exhausted/guilty mom

I feel like a terrible mom.  DS has been screaming for the last 3 days whenever he is awake.  We went to the pedi yesterday and everything checked out OK (and of course he behaved at the doctor...ugh).

This is not fussy crying...this is like after a heal prick/shot, face turns bright red and can barely breathe crying.  All. day. long. (Luckily he has been doing OK at night)

So now my strategy is to keep him asleep as much as possible. I feel so guilty about it, but right now it's survival.  I just can't take anymore screaming.
