Fetal Fibronectin test...

I went in to L&D for a NST yesterday because I thought my water may have broken (turns out, it was just really watery discharge) but I was having monitor-able contractions every 5 minutes for the 4 hours I was there. They tried to do a fetal fibronectin test, but apparently the nurse put in the orders wrong, so now I don't know the results and neither does the doctor. They were going to give me the shot to stop contractions if that test came back positive, but because we don't know, I was sent home and told to come back in if ANYTHING changed.

I have an appointment today to check to see if the contractions are changing anything any more... last night when I was checked I was dilated to a 1 and 50%effaced. I've been having the same contractions all day today (5-10 minutes apart)

Anyone else with a similar story? Any advice? this is my 3rd and I've never had anything like this before... it's just worrying me
