Would you bring LO on a plane at 6 weeks?

My LO won't take a bottle and I just found out a close family member died.  My family is going to the funeral about 1000 miles away this Saturday, so I'd have to fly, but I'd have to bring LO.  Would you skip it for health reasons or would you go?  I don't want him to get sick, he's almost 6 weeks old.

ETA:  If it matters he hasn't had any vaccinations yet, his 1 month appointment is tomorrow and he would miss it if we went.
