Low Platelet Count (Thrombocytopenia)?

Just curious if anyone else has this? I was told my #s were 114k and needed to be rechecked. In one week, they went down to 96k -- and previously they told me they wanted the number to stay above 100k. I have an appointment Thursday morning and just want to know what to expect the doctor to say and maybe have some questions ready.
