air freshener?

i'm lurking from third tri.

i was just wondering what you gals are using to keep the nursery smelling good (or at the very least, not bad).
does a diaper genie really work, or will i need some back up? i don't really want to be using spray air fresheners or candles to cover up any poo smells. 

what should i use?

(i live in an apartment currently, so taking diapers all the way downstairs and across the parking lot to the dumpster every time is out of the question. i also refuse to be that tacky neighbor who just leaves them sitting outside the front door. ugh. so, the diapers will be spending at least a few hours inside every day)
