Breast pumps..

I'm definitely planning to breast-feed, and I am debating on whether or not to get a breast pump. I know there's the convenience factor of having a bottle/milk ready even if I'm not (like so DH can feed LO), but any other factors that have convinced anyone you need a pump?

Oh, and money is definitely a factor (against it!) too. I don't have insurance (my H is Native, so all my prenatal/post/baby care is through our local Indian Hospital, for free since baby will be part Native), so as far as I know I don't have a way to have it covered?
