Insufficient Glandular Tissue (XP: Breastfeeding)

I had another meeting with my LC today to discuss my low supply issues. My LO is 5 weeks today and BF has been a struggle since day 1. I've tried everything to boost my supply, from supplements to prescription drugs to increasing the frequency of my pumping sessions etc. I went from producing an oz a day to 6 oz a day. But this still isn't enough to feed my baby since she takes 3 oz at each feeding. Anyway, the LC suspects that I have "insufficient glandular tissue" which is preventing me from producing enough milk. Has anyone had this diagnosis and went on to be successful at BF? I guess that at the very least my LO will get those 6 oz, but it's still defeating. I feel like my body has let me down.
