Having someone call my unborn child names...

I am not sure how I should react or if I should just brush it off, but my SO's ex which he happens to have a two year old daughter with called our unborn child a bastard and that I do not know who the father is (which I am 100000000% sure it is my SO) he did not take it lightly whatsoever and neither did I. I don't think bringing others children into situations is ever called for. I would never even think of doing a such thing. It has really upset me. Am I wrong for wanting to bash her head in? Even though I won't.
