healing down below

Anyone else have an episiotomy and having issues with healing?  I feel like my crotch is on fire sometimes and is so sore.  I had my mom look at my stitches (she's a nurse) and she thinks that some stitches might have popped.  I am trying to see my OB. I tried calling her today, but the nurse was so busy she didn't call until I was asleep at home while the baby was napping.
