Bright red bleeding (tmi)

I started to use Monistat on Sunday night and on monday morning I had light pink discharge. I've read that Monistat can cause irritation and bleeding and by that night it had gone away. By Tuesday it was a light flow of bright red blood without cramping. I have been really concerned and stopped using the cream. Has anyone had this issue? TIA

 

I called my doctor and she did not seem to be worried at all and said that they have no idea why. They also said that monistat can never cause bleeding. I'm changing doctors but the new one cannot see me till the end of the month.
