Super stupid question

I posted the other day about being in pain down there. It got bad. Tithe point I was crying and could bearly walk. I went to the OB who said suck it up. Some pregnancies are more painful than others and that it will get worse. He old me to go on bed rest for te weekend. So what exactly do you consider bed rest? Am I not supposed to do anything? I have a tot, so am I not supposed to pick her up?
