Finially set up appt with lawyer!

After delaying and living in denial for way too long I've finially made the wise decision to set up an appt with a lawyer. I'm going to use two lawyers. My bst friend has offered to file the paper work and do much of the work for free but I will be paying for another lawyer who specializes in custody situations with the mentally ill. After Yet another failed visit that included STBXH getting violent in front of multiple people and the cops being called into the situation I'm done.  And now I'm gonna fight like hell to protect my daughter.  Is it odd that I feel like such a bad asss for finially doing what's right.
