Pupps after pregnancy?!??

Hi ladies

 

My daughter is 3 weeks old now and I recently developed what my obgyn thinks is probably pupps. I called this morning and he recommended I see a dermatologist and then check with the pediatrician to make sure any meds they give me is ok for breast feeding. The intense itching started on my stomach where my stretch marks are are became bright red and raised. Now I have a rash up and down my arms that itches so bad it makes you want to rip your skin off! I have been applying cortisone cream which seems to help with the itching.  I have an appt on we'd morning. Anyway, just wondering if anyone experienced this and has any recommendations for relief? How long does it usually last?
