Birth Plan for Planned C-Section

Because my last C-Section was unplanned/emergency, I wanted to have more control over my RCS.  I am making a birth plan so that the doctors, staff and our family are informed of what my wishes are in the event something were to happen.  My question is how often are birth plans really followed?  Have any of you ever done RCS birth plans and since it was such a blur what happened last time I just remember being in extreme pain after the C-section what kind of main meds can you request (if any) after the surgery?
