small head?

so at my 20 week ultrasound they found that the baby's head was in the 5th percentile for size...got me back at 23 weeks and they weren't really concerned because baby had grown on its own curve for that few weeks....i have a csection booked for the 12th march and just got a letter in the mail recapping our appointment telling my midwife to book me for a growth scan, is it really necessary at this late stage? i mean next week is the last week they could do it anyway, i dont see how we could alter the outcome anyway!
