I'm starting a thread on this because I am curious. It came up originally on the vaccination thread, but I thought it deserved its own thread.
I'm smart enough to be a doctor, but I have no desire.
Also, I love my doctor, but if he says something that makes me question his knowledge regarding the subject at hand I will second guess him and/or dig deeper on my own until I am satisfied he is correct.
Doctors are wrong all the time because they are human just like us. You are doing yourself and your family a huge disservice if you blindly follow your doctor's advice "just because" he/she went to medical school.
