Nanny cost questions
If you've ever been one or have hired one...
I'm trying to get an idea of weekly or hourly fees. I will have a 4 year old and a 9 month old when I return to work. My older son would be in preschool 2 hrs and 45 min a day. Our nanny would be responsible for bringing him/picking him up, so I'm also wondering about reimbursement for gas/mileage. Or is that just built into the total for the week? Are many nannies willing to work part-time? I might only need someone 3-4 days a week. If we returned to my older son's old day care, it would cost us around $25,000 for the year (not even a whole year because I'm a teacher!)!
