what do you use for white noise? (vacuum for me)

I have a waterfall picture noise thingy that we use for night time and she clunks out to that but during the day with all the noise from the rest of the house (in-laws up stairs.. kids running and doors slamming) the only thing that drowns all that out is my vacuum cleaner..I kinda feel bad but after fighting w/ her for hours trying to get asleep long enough to put her down I just bust it out and shes asleep in minutes and stays asleep as long as I have it on.. Needless to say I am vacuuming EVERYTHING! Its just like any other white noise machine it just has other purposes.. Anyone else use a vacuum???
