How much weight to gain?

January 2012 in 2nd Trimester

So, at my last appointment I was told I had gained 2 pounds since the last time I saw them. Hubby seems to think I should be gaining 5 pounds in between visits, but nobody has told me anything. I've always been on the small side, and don't gain weight easily. How much weight should I gain? Any tips to help me keep the weight on?
