Cradle Cap?

My DD is 6 weeks old today and I have just noticed that she has begun to lose some of her hair on the very top of her head. She also has a couple of red, rough patches developing in the same area. Is this cradle cap? Whether it is or not, has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything I can do to help or keep the hair from falling out?
