Tummy sleeper moms come in

My LO has always slept on her tummy because of her reflux... But it seems like when I lay her down it hurts her almost. She grunts a lot and turns her head from side to side for about ten minutes. Sometimes she toots a bunch too. Is this because of the pressure on her stomach? She could be sound asleep when I put her down and she will wake up like she is uncomfortable. So I try her on her back a she immediately wakes up, so it's not really an option. Anyone else's LO do this? And advice?
