So opinions if someone hurts someone you love ie siblings, parents, close cousins, children, friends. Do you still associate with that person?

My opinion if someone hurts someone I love even if I dont know what happened or dont think they should have been hurt I will not associate with that person I wont hate themor anything but I for sure will not spend any time with them...opinions?
