Well, I survived--and a Christmas Question

Today was the first day DH or I didn't stay home with the LOs and they went to the babysitter. I survived, but have been just holding and kissing my princess since we got home and I'm antsy for bigboy to wake up so I can play with him.

I have to be honest though, I am very pleased with our sitter she understood how hard it was and took notes of when they napped, how much they ate, how many diapers they had and what they did today when they were awake. She had them in their seats and ready to go when I got there and I'm reassured that we made the right choice in providers.

On a side note, for those of you who have started LOs in daycare, if its your first what are you getting your provider for Christmas-if anything? They're only going parttime and will have only gone 3 weeks before Christmas, I feel like we should do something--but don't want to overdo it this year as we haven't been with her that long...
