Co-sleeping advice...?

My 6 wk old LO has just recently started sleeping with me. She is BF with some formula supplementing. She sleeps on her own all night till about 4:30-5:00 at which time I've been putting her in bed with me to sleep on my chest. We sleep until my husband gets up for work. I love this bonding time together and she sleeps so well on me. She's started taking her morning naps in this manner as well. My husband seems to think that this is very unhealthy as it will create bad habits and she will never sleep on her own. How long is it ok to sleep like this before she becomes dependent on it?
