my kid hates his bassinet.

He sleeps LOVELY in his pack n play at night, when his dad or I sleep on the couch nearby it. We get a 4-5 hour stretch, and then a 3 hour stretch, then he comes to sleep in bed with me for 3 hours.

Every night in his pack n play is like this.

His bassinet? He hates it. We put his fan and humidifier and his little music player that plays the sound of the placenta near it just like we do with his pack n play. He'll only sleep an hour and a half to two hours in it. I can't for the life of me figure out why, unless it's because the "mattress" in his pack n play rocks back and forth when he moves.

Does anyone have any tips to get him to like his bassinet better, or should I just move his pack n play into my room for now? My MIL is supposed to be buying a crib mattress + pad (and hasn't yet) for the crib, otherwise we would set that up and use that...
