Bed/Guard Rails & Mattress pads

So we're converting DD to a big girl bed in a few days-she finally climbed/fell out of her crib yesterday. Any suggestions on what bed/guard rails to buy (it'll be a full size mattress) and also a mattress pad (hopefully waterproof in case she wets the bed someday). Thanks!
