PLEASE HELP-Fussy 6 week old

My LO seems to be so fussy all the time the past few days. The only time he seems happy is when he is eating or sleeping. He also seems to sleep a lot more but at night gets incredibly overtired and I have a very hard time getting him to go to sleep. I can usually calm him down by rocking but he will be wide awake even after doing this for a long time. Just curious who else is going through the same thing and if you have any tips. Is this just normal behavior during the dreaded six week growth spurt? I feel so bad that he is not happy and his voice is starting to sound hoarse from crying so much.
