What process did you go through to get your insurance cover special formula? I talked to the insurance and they made it seem like they would cover it (daughter has severe reflux and is on alimentum) with a Dr?s letter since it?s her only form of nutrition. I just got a called from the Dr?s office telling me she wasn?t going to write it because they won?t cover it since it?s food. I understand not covering food but if she can?t function without it and it?s her only source of nutrition how can they not?
