Did you or your dh go to private school?

Like an all girl or all boy HS? I heard a radio ad for McQuaid the other day, all boy private school grades 6-12. I stopped and thought about it, really never had before! I know it is crazy $$$ and not likely an option for us.

What are the benefits to this type of education? It is heavy in religious studies, or is it for any religion?

I am 100% clueless when it comes to this...so please forgive the terms or lack of knowledge! I went to Catholic school for 1/2 of Kindergarten....that is all and there were boys! lol I know a lot of private/catholic school are male/female...so what would be the benefit of having them separate?
