WNY Baby Shower Questions

I have a couple baby shower related questions in WNY (Amherst, Williamsville, Buffalo, KenTon area OK).

I've only been to one before here and it was out in West Seneca, too far for us.

Where was your shower, where else have you been to showers? What did you think?

What do you think is an average pp $ around here?

Unfortunately we just bought a new house and renovations will not be done before the baby shower time frame so it will be outside of the home. My ILs don't currently live locally so that's out as well.

Also, it'll be a winter shower (Feb/March likely) so outdoor locations are out.
