Last pregnancy my OB told me that I could dye my hair but to wait until the 2nd tri.  I'm way overdue for a high light job and they aren't suttle highlights - I've got some majorly bad brown roots showing through.  I'm really thinking about getting a box and taking it back to my natural color.  I really don't want to go until December without evening out the color but, of course, am not going to do anything until I talk to my doctor tomorrow.  But I'm curious - 2nd or more timers did you dye during your first trimester?  Are there hair dyes that are found to be safer than others out there?  I know bleach dyes are a big no-no.  I know dying hair is one of the controversies out there when it comes to the dos & don'ts of pregnancy but I'm on the team of "everything in moderation is fine".
