HCG levels

I requested my HCG levels be tested after my first appointment last Thursday. I was 6 weeks, 4 days. The nurse called today and told me they were 80,000. That seems high to me. I don't think I'm further along than I thought, as I charted. For those of you who also tested HCG, does this seem in the normal range? I dont know too much about HCG and the nurse just told me my level when I asked without discussing any details.
