CP: Infant CPR classes....when to take?

Hi everyone.  I am trying to decide when DH and I will take infant CPR classes, and I was hoping to hear from you all either your plans or opinions.  Our hospital offers the class 1 or 2 times a month.  I'm thinking the closer to birth the better for memory's sake, but I'm afraid to register for a December class and go into labor early (I'm due January 3, but I've been measuring ahead for a while).  What do you all think?
