Would love your opinion on boy name

I have a very unusual name, DH has a very common name.  We want to find a happy medium where if our kid wants to find something with his name on it, he can but not have 15 of them in his class. (I know, easier said than done, right?)

One name so far that we both like is Parker.  DH practically raised his little brother, whose name is Brian.  Our last name end in the -er sound, so my concern with Parker is two fold, a) is the repetition of Parker Stiller*not our real name, but you get the idea* too much and b) is Parker one of "those" names that is just too popular (#86 last year on the ssa list).

Any opinions or suggestions appreciated.
