I don't know if any of you do this, but sometimes I eat out of my kid's bowls/plates. For instance, I started eating cereal out of their little bowls, because instead of a huge heaping pile in a regular bowl, the serving size is 2/3 cup (!), so it gives me an idea of better portion. I've been eating ice cream/sorbet out of little bowls for a long time, but it has become useful for other stuff like the cereal.
I even saw recently that there is a company that makes little bowls for adults (for portion control).. so I had to laugh because I certainly don't need to buy some expensive set
