Photobook opinions needed

Every year for christmas I give each set of granparents a photo book and order one for myself of John's previous year (July 13 to July 12 for his birthday year). But now with two kids would you do one book for each kiddo so that they each have something that is their own to keep forever or would you combine them and let them fight it out and figure out who gets the book? If so, when do you cut off the year?

I'm leaning towards doing one for each kid - John's cut of in July and Ryan's in November. This will still give me time to get both of them ordered in time for Christmas. Now that means ordering six books at roughly $40-50 each but that is really the only thing we get our parents for Christmas and they always look forward to it.

Thoughts? Other ideas?
