I am miserable.. need suggestions?

I have had a sore throat that has gotten worse every day and last night was almost in tears because no matter what I do it wont go away. I take tylenol every 4 hours and it doesn't help at all! I had a strep test yesterday and it was negative (plus I don't see any white spots on my throat either). I am miserable! My body aches, my head and ears are on fire. I woke up with pink eye yesterday (just the red irritated kind, no discharge).

Has anyone had anything similar? I don't know what to do! I was so miserable last night that I was thinking about going to the ER, but then I thought I would be there all day and they might not do anything. I've never felt this horrible before- I am miserable!
