Hernia...

I went to my regular checkup this morning and everything was great...except my ob thinks that I have another hernia. I had one repaired in 2006 with mesh above my right hip. My ob thinks the mesh either ripped or a new hernia formed just above the mesh line. I have already been having painful pulling sensations. He is sending me to the same surgeon that performed my surgery in 2006 for a surgical consult to determine if I need surgery now or if it can wait until delivery. Wow is all I can say...I cannot imagine surgery during pregnancy and I really can't imagine another hernia repair period. I was in the hospital over a week after the last surgery and had an epidural for pain control because nothing else would get rid of the pain. I'm freaking out to say the least!!!
