Name issues!

All of the name posts have me thinking more about names.  DH and I can't think of one that just makes us say "yay! that's it!"

We have a very common last name (think along the lines of Smith) and feel like a more trendy name doesn't fit. 

Jack is our top and only choice, with possibly William as a middle name. 

Is anyone else in the same situation?  How did you know a name was right for your baby?
