My cousin just invited me to the bris for her newborn.  She is the only relative I have over seas and there will be some extended family from the States there, too.  It's also just close friends and family who are there, so I feel honored to be invited.  Trouble is, I can't get the day off work, and can't ask for a long lunch tomorrow cause on Monday I have a chiropractic appt that I desperately need.

So, the question... do I back out of the bris gracefully, or do I call out of work sick?
