I hope you don't mind a newbie I belong to another parenting forum (have for years) and the NY forum is sooooo dead, wanted to jump in here- bit more active.

I'm Erika, married to Chris and our daughter is Alexis (5). We live in Schenectady, NY (Albany region)- I was born and raised here.
