s/o menus (side dishes)

I need some new side dish ideas.  I feel like I'm always making potatoes and rice and I'm bored!  DH isn't a huge pasta fan (for shame!) so I don't make that too often.  Does anyone have something yummy to share?

Oh and I don't always make a side if I can get away with it but DH is such a meat and potatoes man, I try to make a side dish most nights.
