Refusing teeth brushed

So my DS has two teeth on the top and two on the bottom. I have been brushing his teeth morning and night since he got his first one a few months ago. Yesterday morning, last night and this morning, DS refuses to even open his mouth to get his teeth brushed. Last night he screamed and screamed when I was trying to brush his teeth.

Has this happened to anyone else? I have no idea what to do.
