Baby Furniture Questions??

Has anyone bought furniture yet for the baby??  DH and I saw a nice set in BRU - so I went online to check it out and it said it was not available for store pick up - so I said okay - i will have it shipped - well they want to charge me $ 500 for shipping - no way that is happening.   Has anyone gotten furniture at Babies R Us - can you have it ordered and shipped to the store - we have trucks so we can pick it up - I do not want to pay for shipping.  Also do all baby stores do this??  Is there any place that carries the furniture in stock??  Also if you do order it how long does it take to come in??  Sorry there is so many questions - I am just so confused.
