Blood Sugar - who tests?

I have low blood sugar and instead of making me go through a GTT, my peri told me to take several random samples throughout each week 1 hour after a meal.  He said as long as I stay under 120, he feels no need to do anything.  First tri, my bs was always between 60-80 one hour post meal but lately it's been around 140.  I don't see my peri for another two weeks and was just wondering if these levels are worrisome?
