sleeping issues

So my LO has slept through the night now for months and only cried for a few minutes when put down for naps or bed time.  This last Friday that all changed...  she has been a totally different child when we lay her down for naps and for bed time.  She screams uncontrollably for at least an hour.  We have tried going into her room every 10 minutes (we use a timer) and not picking her up just talking to her and it's not working.  Has anyone else gone through this?  I have no idea what triggered this!!!  Any advice is appreciated!
