When your LO is sick...

do you do anything special for them just because you know they don't feel well? For example, Wy normally only gets his paci when he's sleeping or in the car now. But when he's not feeling well and wants it, I see nothing wrong with letting him have it. DH thinks we should treat him the same as if he wasn't sick (even though giving him the paci would make life sooooooooooooooo much better with a sick baby). We always got special things when we werent' feeling well, an extra movie, a special snack, something along those lines, just because we were having a cruddy day. Apparently DH never had this (although knowing his mom I find that hard to believe). Just curious if others were thinking along my same lines, or am I just crazy? haha
